"I didn't think anyone wanted to hear my stories. Turns out, my whole family was just waiting for someone to ask."

Preserve handwritten recipes forever
"I gave this to my mom for Mother's Day. Now we have a family group chat we never had before, and my sister and I actually talk every week."
After just 5 answers, the app starts learning. It notices who they mention, what topics light them up, and what stories go deepest. Every Friday, it asks a personalized follow-up question inspired by what they've already shared.
✨
Inspired by your stories
Dad mentions his brother Tom? The AI asks "Tell us more about Tom." Mom talks about cooking? It asks for the recipe. No other app does this.
🍽️
Recipe card scanner
Snap a photo of Grandma's handwritten recipe card. We'll read it, extract every ingredient and step, and save it forever alongside the story of who made it.
📸
Photo storytelling
Upload an old family photo and we'll ask: "Who is in this photo? Where was it taken? What do you remember about this day?"
🦉
Wisdom quotes
The AI finds the most beautiful moments in every answer and turns them into shareable wisdom cards. "My grandmother said..." posts that your family will treasure.
Year 2 goes even deeper. The AI analyzes an entire year of stories and creates questions no one else could ask.

Questions you might have
What if they're not good with technology?
That's exactly who this is for. Big text, simple buttons, speech-to-text so they can just talk. If they can send a text message, they can use Family Stori. And we never ask them to download, install, or update anything complicated.
What if they fall behind on questions?
No guilt, ever. Questions wait patiently. If they miss a week, we gently pause new questions and surface easy catch-up ones. They can also activate Vacation Mode to pause for up to 4 weeks. Their family gets a nice note: "Taking a break — back soon."
Do family members need to download an app?
No. Family members get a beautiful email every Sunday with all the week's answers and a quiz link. Everything works in their email and browser — no app required. If they want push notifications, they can optionally download the free app.
What happens to the stories after the year?
They're yours forever to download — text, photos, and videos. You can also order a beautiful printed hardcover book of all their answers. If the subscription isn't renewed, we keep everything safe for 12 months so you have plenty of time to download.
My family speaks different languages — does that work?
Perfectly. The storyteller answers in their language. Family members read in theirs. Everything is translated naturally — not robotic machine translation, but warm, human-sounding language. We support 30 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, and Turkish.
Can I ask my own questions?
Yes! Family members can submit custom questions. Other family members vote on the best ones, and the highest-voted question gets delivered to the storyteller. It's a beautiful way to ask what you've always wanted to know.
What makes this different from StoryWorth?
StoryWorth sends questions and makes a book. We do that too — plus weekly family quizzes, head-to-head challenges, a leaderboard, social sharing, video answers, speech-to-text, 30 languages with AI translation, and holiday specials for Christmas and Mother's Day. It's a family game, not just a journal.
How does personalization work?
The app reads every answer and learns what topics your storyteller loves. After just 5 answers, it starts creating personalized follow-up questions every Friday. It also scans handwritten recipe cards, asks questions about uploaded photos, and automatically finds the most beautiful quotes in their stories. The questions get better every week.
